Aud can cook

I just finished washing my rice cooker.

And it bloody cost me an hour of my precious time.

Time that could be spent on improving my blog layout.

It takes me one hour to eat and one hour to wash my rice cooker.

I'm not cooking any more Japanese rice.  (Which was quite good to be honest)

Audrey does not want any more icecream, thanks

Most people never make exactly the same mistake twice.

Apparently this is not the case with Audrey Ooi.

This afternoon the hong soh spirit took me almost to Amherst for icecream with roommate Beth and neighbours Jessie and Divya.  The destination was a place called Atkins' Farm where they sold gorgeous icecream.

During Int'l Student Orientation here at MHC, we were taken there too.  When they asked for my order, I confidently told them I wanted a waffle cone with a scoop of Rum Raisin and Cookies n' Cream.

I got a waffle cone with two scoops.  Did I mention it was also almost a foot tall?

Just because the waffle cone was so bloody big.

So I went again today.  It was a beautiful very un-fall like day and it felt exactly like Malaysia especially when we climbed into Jessie's sweltering car.  In other words, perfect icecream weather.

When it was my turn to order, I remembered my past mistake and made sure not to ask for a waffle cone, just a regular cone would do.

Then I picked a medium cone because Kids and Small would definitely not be worth the ride here.

To my horror, this is what I got:-

::Quote from Jessie: "As big as her head."  Don't be fooled by the smile on my face, I was really horrified::

To my dismay, people started coming up to me and asking me, "What size is THAT?!  It's HUGE!" and one little old lady kept smiling at me and saying, "Oh my god!!" about 7000 times.  Which was quite creepy, really.

::Jessie enjoying her own normal-sized sundae::

Oh ya, just to tell you, I finished the whole thing.

And couldn't eat dinner after that.

Then had diarrhea.  (But I'm quite sure that had nothing to do with icecream..think it was the Myojo I had for lunch)
